The International athletics meeting "Gobierno de Aragón", which this year will celebrated its sixth edition, is the eleventh stop of the prestigious Premium Meeting Tour of the European Athletics Association (EAA). In their way to Berlin World Championships, some of the outstanding athletic stars of the moment will stop in the "Centro Aragonés del Deporte" track in order to sharpen their fit thinking on that important date. Zaragoza will become one more time one of the capitals of international athletics, as it has happened since 2004, year in which the first edition was held. This Grand Prix was preceded twenty years ago by other prestigious international meeting, celebrated between 1983 and 1987 years. In this present-day stage, emblematic athletes like Moroccan Hicham El Guerrouj, Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele, Russian Tatyana Lebedeva or Mozambican Maria Lourdes Mutola have wanted to compete in this meeting, contributing to the current prestige of this competition. Next July 18th other athletes of international category will try to emulate these athletic myths and offer us and unforgettable evening, plenty of emotions and great performances.
