THE COMPETITION - Team info

       The participating teams shall be divided into a Super League (comprising 8 teams), a First League (comprising 8 teams) and a Second League (comprising the remaining teams).
       The European Cup Combined Events First League comprises separate competitions for eight men’s and eight women’s teams representing European Athletics Member Federations.

       Each team shall consist of up to 4 athletes. The finishing positions of the teams in each match shall be decided according to the aggregates of the points (according to the International Scoring Tables) earned by the 3 (three) highest scoring athletes in each team, the team having the highest aggregate being the winner, and so on. The lowest two teams in the First League shall be relegated to the Second League.

Visas should be obtained from the Spanish Embassy of Consulate before leaving your country. If you require any assistance with your application please contact the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation:

ENTRY FORM
Each team shall consist of up to 4 (four) athletes.
The system will be accessible at: www.european-athletics.org in the section “Member Federations Zone/ Competition”.

According to the regulations the deadlines for entries are:
opening date of the system deadline for the entries
Preliminary Entries: as at 27th March 2009 (travel and accommodation info)
Final Entries: as at 22th June 2009 (final team entries)

TICKETS
The entrance to the Stadium will be free for all the spectators.
