Covering 13,465 hectares, the city of Valencia is located on the Spanish Mediterranean coastline, on a plain next to the banks of the River Turia, and surrounded by small mountains that rarely exceed 100 metres in altitude.

By train: Located in the heart of Valencia city centre, the North Station (La Estación del Norte) represents the gateway to Valencia for all those travellers who use the train to visit us. The North Station has access to both the local rail network, which allows trips to neighbouring towns, and to the most modern trains that join Va-lencia to all main European cities.
By boat: The Port of Valencia, despite being mainly used for freight and industry, is an important maritime link between Valencia and the Balearic Islands and represents an important stop-over for Mediterranean tourist cruises. The city has excellent transport links to the port.
By road: The A7 Mediterranean motorway, which stretches from the north to the south of the Levantine coastline, serves as a link to other European motorway networks.
