The volunteers of the SPAR European Cross Country Championships Toro 2007 will play a very important role. Around 250 of them will be needed for the different areas of the competition.
- Volunteers will have some advantages; among them, we can underline the following:
- To be part of one of the most important sport events in Europe.
- To have the opportunity of meeting new friends, getting to know the best European athletes in this specialty, make new experiences…
- To receive the Championship's official equipment.
- Being a volunteer in such an event involves different activities. For some of them a previous knowledge or experience will be necessary. Others just require your maximum enthusiasm.
- Among the different work, volunteers will be helping out as:
- Drivers.
- Translators.
- Support in different following areas:
- Accreditations
- Lodging
- Transports
- Protocol
- Medical Services
- Media
- Course
- Necessary requirements:
- To be 16 years and older by November 15th, 2007
- Availability of approximately 8-10 hours per day from the 6th - 9th of December. Availability on the 5th and the 10th of December are is also desirable.
- To provide time for an interview and one or two meetings in advance for preparation.
- To wear the Championship's official equipment.
- To respect the Championship's regulations.
- To put all the possible enthusiasm in the work.
Each volunteer will receive the necessary explanations about his/her work in the area in which he/she has applied for.
