Located 10 km far from Toro city centre and 20km from Zamora, Monte La Reina course is one of the best locations to practice the cross country in Spanish soil. The surface is totally made of grass and it was designed in 1998 on the occasion of the Spanish Cross Country Championships for Clubs. In the following years, it has been used for several Regional Championships and it hosted the Spanish Championships in 2005    Three courses will be used during these Championships: 700 (A), 1.000 (B) and 1.500 metres (C) with natural obstacles which will emphasize the beauty of the area. There will be several buildings and tents to accommodate athletes and staff from the LOC.
